Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially entered the electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-Access. The company introduced the electric version of its popular Access scooter in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
Suzuki will manufacture the e-Access at its Gurugram facility. With this launch, the company aims to compete directly with electric scooters like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and Ather Rizta.
Battery, Range and Performance
The Suzuki e-Access runs on a 3.07 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. According to the company, the scooter delivers a range of up to 95 km on a single charge. It uses a 4.1 kW electric motor that produces 15 Nm of peak torque. Suzuki claims the scooter can reach a top speed of 71 kmph.
Using a portable charger, the battery charges from 0 to 80 percent in 4 hours and 30 minutes. With a fast charger, users can fully charge the battery in just 2 hours and 12 minutes.
Features and Technology
The e-Access comes with a fully digital instrument console. It offers Eco, Ride A, and Ride B riding modes. Suzuki has also added regenerative braking and reverse mode for better control. The scooter supports Bluetooth and app connectivity and includes a USB charging port.
The scooter features LED lighting and is available in four color options.
Booking, Warranty and Offers
Suzuki first showcased the e-Access at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Customers can now book the scooter through Suzuki dealerships and Flipkart.
The company offers a seven-year or 80,000 km battery warranty. Suzuki customers can avail a loyalty bonus of up to Rs. 10,000, while new buyers receive a welcome bonus of Rs. 7,000. Suzuki also provides financing options starting at an interest rate of 5.99 percent.
With the launch of the e-Access, Suzuki has taken a major step toward expanding its presence in India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market.
