Republic Day celebrations were held with grandeur at the Telangana Legislative Council in Hyderabad, marking the national occasion with dignity and patriotic spirit. Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy hoisted the national flag and led the proceedings at the Assembly premises. The event reflected respect for constitutional values and highlighted the role of democratic institutions in the state.
Following the flag hoisting, leaders and members paid tribute to the Constitution and the nation. Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash attended the ceremony along with several Members of the Legislative Council. The gathering created a solemn yet celebratory atmosphere within the Council premises.
MLCs, including Addanki Dayakar, Chinna Reddy, Malka Komuraiah, Dayanand, Takkellapalli Ravinder Rao, Sripal Reddy, Anji Reddy, and Vanidevi, participated in the celebrations. Telangana Legislative Council Secretary Dr Narasimha Charyulu and other officials were also present, adding administrative representation to the event.
Speakers emphasised the importance of upholding constitutional principles and strengthening democratic values. The celebrations concluded with expressions of unity and commitment to public service, marking Republic Day in Hyderabad with pride and collective resolve.
