Heavy pilgrim rush continues at Tirumala, with all compartments filled. Devotees arriving without tokens are currently receiving Sarva Darshan after an estimated waiting time of around 16 hours. Temple officials confirmed that crowd movement remains steady, while arrangements are in place to ensure smooth darshan.
According to data released by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, a total of 82,043 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Saturday. In addition, 32,299 pilgrims offered their hair as part of the sacred tonsuring ritual. The temple also recorded hundi collections of ₹3.74 crore through offerings made by devotees.
VIP Darshan in Early Hours
Several VIPs visited the hill shrine during the early morning hours. Andhra Pradesh minister Atchannaidu offered prayers along with his family members. He participated in rituals and sought blessings from the presiding deity.
Government Whip Bolisetti Srinivas also had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. After the prayers, Vedic scholars at the temple offered him traditional blessings.
Crowd Management Measures in Place
TTD authorities continue to monitor the inflow of pilgrims closely. Despite the heavy rush, officials stated that darshan arrangements are functioning systematically. Queue lines remain packed, yet staff members are guiding devotees efficiently to minimise inconvenience.
With the weekend surge still visible, temple authorities expect the footfall to remain high over the next few days. Devotees planning to visit Tirumala have been advised to check waiting times in advance and make necessary travel arrangements accordingly.
The steady inflow once again highlights the unwavering faith of devotees in Lord Venkateswara, as thousands continue to throng Tirumala every day seeking divine blessings.
