Dr A. Sarath, TTD Joint Executive Officer for Health & Education, inspected the ongoing construction of the Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre (SPCHC) in Tirupati on Wednesday. He was accompanied by TTD Technical Advisor Sri R. Kondala Rao.
During the inspection, Dr Sarath emphasised completing the hospital building within the stipulated timeframe. He questioned officials about delays and instructed them to expedite work. Additionally, he suggested following the guidance of the TTD Engineering Technical Advisor to ensure timely completion.
The JEO also highlighted the importance of creating a welcoming environment. He advised developing greenery around the premises and installing pictures of deities inside the hospital. According to him, this would inspire spiritual faith and mental strength among patients and their families.
Furthermore, Dr Sarath directed officials to install CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring. He stressed using high-quality electrical and essential infrastructure equipment to guarantee smooth hospital operations.
A review meeting followed the inspection. Officials from various departments discussed the progress and addressed pending work. The session focused on practical steps to accelerate construction while maintaining quality standards.
The inspection included Chief Engineer Sri T. V. Satyanarayana, Hospital Director Dr N. Srinath Reddy, RMO Dr Bharat, Superintending Engineers Sri Venkateswarlu and Sri Manoharam, along with other staff. Together, they evaluated the project’s current status and set deadlines for pending tasks.
