California: Two young Telugu Girls lost their lives in a tragic road accident in the United States, leaving their families and friends in deep shock and grief.
The victims were identified as Pulakhandam Meghanarani (25) from Garla in Mahabubabad district, Telangana, and Kadiyala Bhavana (24) from Mulkanur. Both women had moved to the US nearly three years ago to pursue higher education. After completing their MS degrees, they were actively searching for jobs.
Accident During California Trip
According to family members, Meghana and Bhavana were travelling with six friends on a short tour in California. The group used two cars for the trip. While driving along Alabama Hills Road, the car carrying Meghana and Bhavana lost control at a sharp turn and plunged into a ravine.
The accident occurred at around 4 pm on Sunday (US local time). Both women died on the spot due to severe injuries, officials said.
Families Devastated
The sudden deaths have plunged their families into immense sorrow. Relatives and friends described Meghana and Bhavana as talented, ambitious, and full of dreams. The tragic incident has also shocked the Telugu community both in India and abroad.
