The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has completed all arrangements for the grand Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival, which begins on December 30. As devotees arrive in large numbers, officials have introduced special measures to ensure smooth darshan.
Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan to Continue for Ten Days
This year, TTD will offer Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan for ten consecutive days to manage the heavy crowd. From December 30 to January 1, only devotees with pre-issued tokens can enter the temple for darshan. However, from January 2 to January 8, devotees without tokens can also access the Vaikuntha Dwara.
Temple Shines with Grand Floral Decorations
Meanwhile, the TTD Horticulture Department has decorated the temple with massive floral arrangements. Workers used nearly 50 tons of traditional flowers, 10 tons of fruits, and four lakh cut flowers to enhance the temple’s beauty. In addition, colorful electric lights now illuminate the Tirumala hills, creating a festive atmosphere.

Clear Guidelines for Devotees
To avoid inconvenience, TTD has advised devotees to carry their Aadhaar cards and printed tokens. Moreover, officials have arranged special queue lines at Krishna Teja, ATGH, and Shilathoranam points. As a result, devotees can enter the temple in an orderly manner.
Extended Darshan Hours and Tight Security
According to TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, nearly 70,000 devotees are expected on Vaikuntha Ekadashi day. Therefore, authorities have allotted 20 hours of darshan time for general devotees. At the same time, Srivari Sevakulu are continuously distributing food and drinking water to those waiting in queues.
Furthermore, TTD has deployed 3,000 police personnel to maintain law and order. The Swarna Rathotsavam will take place on Ekadashi morning, while the Chakrasnanam ceremony will be held the following day in a grand manner.
