The annual Vakulamatha pilgrimage festival took place with deep devotion at Kondadaba village in Kotavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district. As a result, the village witnessed a large gathering of Christian devotees from North Andhra and nearby regions.
From early morning, devotees reached the shrine in huge numbers. Many of them joined the penance foot pilgrimage and walked long distances from different districts. Meanwhile, they followed strict prayer rules and spiritual discipline before seeking the blessings of Vakulamatha.
Devotees Arrive After Long Foot Pilgrimages
Not only local believers, but also devotees from neighbouring areas took part in the festival. Most of them walked barefoot as a sign of faith and repentance. Despite physical strain, they remained committed to their prayers. Consequently, the atmosphere around the shrine remained calm and spiritual throughout the day.
