Former Women’s Commission Chair Vasireddy Padma has strongly criticised ex-Chief Minister YS Jagan. She questioned his recent actions, including visiting the families of former ministers Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh. Padma asked what message Jagan is sending by extending such courtesies.
She also raised concerns about Jagan’s inaction against leaders who publicly threw shoes at political opponents. Padma argued that this could be interpreted as tacit support for such disrespectful behaviour.
Additionally, she highlighted the controversy surrounding the Tirumala laddu issue. Padma criticised Jagan for not providing answers or clarifications regarding the alleged mismanagement. She emphasised that accountability is essential for public trust.
Padma’s comments have stirred political debate, with opposition parties echoing concerns about governance and leadership transparency under YS Jagan.
