The year 2025 delivered thrilling cricket across formats, with batters lighting up stadiums through power-packed performances. Whether in Tests, ODIs, or T20 Internationals, fans witnessed a barrage of towering sixes. Interestingly, when it comes to six-hitting dominance, Indian players finished at the top in all three formats, making 2025 a memorable year for Team India supporters.

T20Is: Abhishek Sharma Leads Among Full Members

In T20 Internationals, Austria’s Karanbir Singh smashed a staggering 122 sixes, the highest overall in 2025. However, among full-member nations, India’s Abhishek Sharma claimed the top spot. He struck 54 sixes, showcasing his aggressive intent and consistency. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan followed closely with 45 sixes, finishing second on the list.

ODIs: Rohit Sharma Tops the Charts

In One Day Internationals, Indian captain Rohit Sharma once again proved his class. He finished 2025 as the leading six-hitter in ODIs with 24 maximums. Outside the full-member teams, Scotland’s George Munsey impressed by smashing 34 sixes, underlining his impact in limited-overs cricket.

Tests: Rishabh Pant’s Power Show

Test cricket also saw an Indian batter dominate the six-hitting charts. Rishabh Pant emerged as the most destructive hitter in the longest format. Across seven Test matches, Pant hammered 26 sixes, setting the benchmark for aggressive red-ball batting. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill added 15 sixes to his tally, reinforcing India’s growing attacking approach in Tests.

India’s All-Format Supremacy

Overall, the six-hitting numbers from 2025 clearly highlight India’s dominance across formats. From explosive T20 knocks to controlled ODI aggression and fearless Test batting, Indian players led the way in clearing the ropes.

As the cricketing world looks ahead, fans expect this power trend to continue in 2026. With young talent rising and experienced stars maintaining form, Indian batters appear well set to keep the sixes flowing in the years to come.
