The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Secretariat on Tuesday unveiled its 2026 calendar and diary with a fresh and meaningful theme focused on biodiversity and cultural heritage. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu formally released the calendar at the Undavalli camp office in the presence of Assembly Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu.
The 2026 calendar has been designed under the theme “Biodiversity – The Living Heritage of Andhra Pradesh.” It aims to create awareness about the state’s rich wildlife, natural resources, traditional art forms, and cultural legacy. The Assembly Secretariat conceptualized the calendar to reflect Andhra Pradesh’s ecological wealth while blending tradition with modern design.
Kalamkari Art Brings Nature to Life
A key highlight of the calendar is its artistic presentation. The images feature Andhra Pradesh’s wildlife and biodiversity, illustrated in the traditional Kalamkari art style. Officials said the design seeks to preserve classical art while delivering an important message on environmental protection and conservation.
The Secretariat also released a table calendar and diary as part of the 2026 publication set. These materials showcase the state’s nature, culture, and technological progress in a visually engaging manner.
CM Chandrababu Naidu Appreciates the Initiative
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu praised the Assembly Secretariat for the thoughtful design and meaningful theme. He said the calendar carries a strong message about protecting nature and preserving biodiversity for future generations.
Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu thanked the Chief Minister for unveiling the calendar and appreciated the efforts of the Secretariat in promoting environmental awareness through creative initiatives.

Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav and Assembly Secretary General Prasanna Kumar were also present at the event.
The 2026 calendar stands as a reflection of Andhra Pradesh’s living heritage, combining wildlife awareness, traditional art, and a vision for sustainable development.
