Bunny–Boyapati Talk Comes to a Halt
The much-discussed combination of Allu Arjun and director Boyapati Srinu appears to have been dropped for now. Until recently, industry circles actively debated the Bunny–Boyapati collaboration. In fact, several reports even suggested that another mass entertainer like Sarrainodu was in the making.
However, recent developments indicate a clear change in plans.
Allu Aravind’s Announcement Sparks Speculation
Producer Allu Aravind recently announced a major project with Allu Arjun under his banner. Naturally, many assumed that Boyapati Srinu would helm the film. Yet, after the release and reception of Akhanda 2, the scenario seems to have shifted.
As a result, sources now suggest that Allu Arjun has decided to step away from the Boyapati project entirely.
Akhanda 2 Impact Changes Equations
Earlier, Boyapati Srinu himself had publicly confirmed plans to work with Allu Arjun. Nevertheless, the outcome of Akhanda 2 appears to have altered those plans. At present, the possibility of a Bunny–Boyapati combination looks almost zero.
Moreover, insiders believe that Bunny prefers to move forward with directors who offer fresh narratives and pan-India appeal.
New Directors in Bunny’s Line-Up
Currently, Allu Arjun is busy with director Atlee on a high-profile project. Following this, reports indicate that he may collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Additionally, a Malayalam director is also said to be in consideration.
Therefore, it has become evident that Boyapati Srinu is not part of Bunny’s immediate roadmap.
What’s Next for Boyapati?
With this development, attention has now shifted to Boyapati Srinu’s next move. Industry watchers are keen to see which star will team up with the mass director next.
For now, Boyapati easing out of Allu Arjun’s lineup has become a hot topic in Tollywood circles.
