Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has arrived in his hometown, Naravaripalle, to take part in Sankranti celebrations. As every year, he chose to celebrate the festival with his family members and villagers. This visit reflects his strong emotional bond with his native village.
On Monday evening, the Chief Minister left for Naravaripalle by helicopter. Earlier, he held a review meeting with ministers, secretaries, and collectors at the Secretariat. Upon arrival, villagers, party leaders, and activists gave him a grand welcome. He will stay in Naravaripalle for four days.
Sankranti Celebrations with Locals
On Tuesday morning, Chandrababu Naidu will attend Sankranti celebrations at the TTD Kalyana Mandapam in the village. He will participate in the festivities along with villagers and family members. Later, he will visit the Seshachala Lingeswara Swamy Devasthanam and offer prayers.
Development Works in Naravaripalle
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister will inaugurate several development projects in Naravaripalle. He will open the Rangampet–Bhimavaram Road leading to the Seshachala Lingeswara Swamy Temple. The project was built at a cost of ₹70 lakh.
In addition, he will inaugurate a 33/11 KV semi-indoor substation. He will also open a Skill Building Center worth ₹1.4 crore to support youth employment. Sanjeevani welfare projects will also be launched.
Major Inaugurations in Tirupati
Later, Chandrababu Naidu will visit Tirupati to inaugurate key infrastructure projects. These include a Patient Attendant Amenities Complex at Ruia Government Hospital, built at a cost of ₹45 lakh. He will also inaugurate a Boys Hostel costing ₹7.5 crore and a Girls Hostel costing ₹5 crore at Sri Venkateswara University.
Water and Education Projects
Furthermore, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for a ₹126 crore water project. This project will transfer water from the Neeva Branch Canal to the Kalyani Dam and nearby tanks. He will also lay the foundation for a cattle accommodation complex costing ₹10 lakh.
To strengthen higher education, he will lay foundation stones for new academic infrastructure at SV University. These works include a second-floor academic block and a compound wall.
Special Prayers at Nagalamma Temple
Finally, on January 15, Chandrababu Naidu will visit the village deity Nagalamma temple. He will perform special prayers along with his family. After completing the visit, he will return to Amaravati the same day.
The Chief Minister’s Sankranti visit combines tradition with development. It also highlights his focus on grassroots governance and public welfare.
