Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday visited Ippatam village in Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district, keeping a promise he made three years ago to an elderly woman affected by house demolitions.
Pawan Kalyan had assured the woman during a visit in 2022 that he would meet her again after coming to power. Staying true to his word, he reached Ippatam and personally visited the house of Nageshwaramma, the elderly woman who had lost her home during the demolitions.
Nageshwaramma gave Pawan Kalyan a warm and emotional welcome. The Deputy CM greeted her affectionately, embraced her, and enquired about her health and well-being. He also interacted with her family members and listened to their concerns.
As part of his support, Pawan Kalyan extended financial assistance of ₹50,000 to Nageshwaramma. In addition, he provided ₹1 lakh to support the education of her grandson, assuring the family of continued assistance.
The visit drew attention as a gesture of personal commitment and compassion, with many locals appreciating the Deputy CM for honouring his promise and standing by those affected during difficult times.
