Andhra Pradesh should be developed as a destination for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said on Sunday during a review meeting on the Visakhapatnam CII meet.
The Chief Minister also emphasised positive policy-making and knowledge sharing for the upcoming CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, scheduled for November 14 and 15.
Chairing a review meeting on arrangements for the CII summit, Naidu directed the officials to organise the event on par with the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit in Davos.
“The plenary and breakout sessions must prioritise knowledge sharing, AI for good, Semiconductors, Health, Space, Drones, Electronics and Medtech sectors,” Naidu said.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister also instructed the officials to hold discussions on smart manufacturing, chain linkage, logistics, connectivity, inland waterways, warehouse, cold storage, agritech, value addition in rare earth minerals, Swachhandhra, circular economy and P-4 programmes.
“Google’s decision to set up a comprehensive AI Data Centre in Visakhapatnam will ensure the transformation of the Port City. It will also attract other major firms to the City of Destiny,” Naidu affirmed.
He stressed prioritising the development of human resources and upskilling, and called for appropriate representation of educational institutes at the CII Partnership Summit.
On the occasion, Naidu also stressed the need to promote the ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur’ initiative, economic corridors, industrial clusters, Blue and Green Capital–Amaravati, water security, futuristic workforce, and tech-based good governance at the summit.
Naidu ordered the top brass of the State’s bureaucracy to organise the summit in a way that reflects how the 21st Century belongs to India.
