Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has made a notable investment in Hyderabad-based solar energy company Suntech Energy Systems Private Limited, widely known as Truzon Solar. He invested ₹3.6 crore and acquired a 2 percent stake in the company. As part of the deal, Sachin purchased 1.8 lakh shares. The company announced this partnership on December 23, creating strong buzz in the renewable energy sector.
About Truzon Solar
Entrepreneur Charugundla Bhavani Suresh founded Truzon Solar in 2008. Since then, the company has focused on solar solutions for homes, businesses, and large utility projects. It also works on rooftop solar systems and government-backed initiatives such as the PM-KUSUM scheme. Over the years, Truzon Solar has built a solid presence in the clean energy space.
Expansion Across India
Currently, Truzon Solar runs projects in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, the company plans to expand into Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. This growth strategy aims to strengthen its national reach and support India’s renewable energy goals.
What Sachin’s Investment Means
According to Managing Director Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, Sachin’s entry brings more than funds. He said the partnership reflects shared values, trust, and long-term vision. Moreover, Sachin’s association boosts brand credibility and opens doors for faster expansion across the country.
Mahesh Babu as Brand Ambassador
Earlier, in 2024, Truzon Solar appointed Mahesh Babu as its brand ambassador. His presence helped the company connect with a wider audience through strong promotional campaigns. Now, with Sachin Tendulkar joining as an investor, the brand gains even more trust and visibility.
A Strong Push for Clean Energy
Together, Mahesh Babu’s endorsement and Sachin Tendulkar’s investment give Truzon Solar a major push. As a result, the company stands well-positioned to promote clean energy and contribute to India’s sustainable future.
