Tirupati, December 6, 2025:
The Bihar Government has allotted 10.11 acres of land to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for the construction of a Sri Venkateswara Temple in Patna. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and AP Minister Nara Lokesh welcomed the decision and appreciated the gesture.

TTD Chairman Expresses Gratitude
TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu said he felt delighted with the Bihar Government’s support. He noted that the approval marked a significant step toward bringing the divine presence of Lord Venkateswara to devotees in North India.
Land Allotted for 99-Year Lease
Bihar Chief Secretary Sri Pratyaya Amrit, IAS, informed TTD in a formal letter that the Government had granted the land in the Mokama Khas area of Patna. The land is being leased for 99 years for a token rent of just ₹1, demonstrating the State’s commitment to the project.
Next Steps for Temple Construction
The TTD Chairman said a team from Tirupati will soon meet the Director of the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation. They will discuss the project plan and begin the initial procedures required for the temple’s construction.
