The Mangalampeta temple Maha Samprokshanam was performed at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Pulicherla Mandal, Chittoor district, following the revered Agama traditions. Temple authorities and a large number of devotees gathered to witness the sacred ceremonies, which sanctified the temple and its deities.
Rituals Concluded with Grand Ceremonies
The multi-day rituals began on February 17 and concluded on Friday with a series of significant rites, including Teertha Goshti, Vigraha Pratishtha, Pranadidasa Homams, Maha Poornahuti, and the Mahakumbha Samprokshanam. These ceremonies were performed under the guidance of Agama Advisor Sri Srinivasacharyulu.
Deputy Executive Officer Smt. V.R. Shanthi, Assistant Executive Officer, Sri A.B. Narayana Chowdary, Executive Engineer, Sri Mallikarjuna Prasad, temple staff, and a large number of devotees actively participated in the rituals. Their presence ensured the ceremonies were carried out with devotion and precision.
Annual Brahmotsavams Commence
Following the Maha Samprokshanam, the temple’s annual Brahmotsavams began on February 20. The celebrations will continue until March 2, featuring special poojas, processions, and cultural programs for devotees. The festival promises a spiritually uplifting experience for all who attend.
