A new road has been completed between Errampeta and Rajavaram villages in Koyyalagudem mandal, Eluru district, thanks to the initiative of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
The project addresses long-standing issues faced by residents, who previously struggled due to poor connectivity.
Residents Appeal During Pawan Kalyan’s Visit
On November 24 last year, Pawan Kalyan visited I.S. Jagannathpuram. During the visit, villagers submitted a petition requesting the construction of a bypass road. They explained the difficulties they faced without proper road access.
Responding promptly, the Deputy Chief Minister instructed authorities to take immediate action.
Construction Funded Through the National Rural Employment Scheme
Under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), officials approved ₹60 lakh in two separate packages to complete the road project.
With the allocated funds, authorities constructed a 3-kilometre road suitable for Bypass road, ensuring better accessibility and convenience for villagers.
Benefits for Local Residents
Officials estimate that around 12,500 residents will benefit directly from the new road. Improved connectivity will make daily travel easier, enhance access to schools and markets, and significantly reduce hardships faced by the community.
The project highlights the impact of proactive leadership combined with community engagement and government support.
