Andhra Pradesh Industries & Commerce and Food Processing Minister TG Bharath urged for stronger India–Europe collaboration to lead the next industrial revolution, Industry 5.0, built on technology, talent, and trust.
Speaking at a session titled ‘Enabling Industry 5.0 through New Age Manufacturing’ during the CII India–Europe Business Partnership Roundtable at the 30th Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, TG Bharath said Industry 5.0 is not just an evolution of Industry 4.0 but a complete transformation, emphasising responsible and human-centric innovation.

Highlighting the synergy between India’s skilled workforce and Europe’s precision, Bharath said,
“We are witnessing dramatic automation, AI-led predictive factories, and clean circular manufacturing. India has the talent, and Europe has the precision; together, we can do magic.”
He stressed that the next phase of industrialisation must integrate sustainability, innovation, and inclusivity, turning factories into intelligent ecosystems that prioritise both people and the planet.
Andhra Pradesh – A living laboratory for ‘Industry 5.0’
Commending the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, Bharath said Andhra Pradesh is rapidly becoming a technology-driven economy.
He noted that Policy 4.0 has strengthened the four pillars of the State’s industrial ecosystem — infrastructure, innovation, investment, and inclusion.
TG Bharath called for building green manufacturing corridors and unlocking MSME productivity to make Andhra Pradesh a living laboratory for Industry 5.0, where innovation meets sustainability.

They emphasised that a strong Industry 5.0 collaboration between India and Europe could pave the way for new private sector opportunities, clean manufacturing practices, and sustainable industrial growth.
