The Andhra Pradesh Women Development and Child Welfare Department (AP WCD) has released a recruitment notification to fill Anganwadi Worker and Helper posts on a contract basis in Anantapur district. Vacancy Details
Under this recruitment drive, AP WCD plans to fill a total of 92 posts. These include 78 Anganwadi Worker positions and 14 Anganwadi Helper posts. The department has invited applications from eligible local candidates through the offline mode.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for these posts must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. As per the notification, applicants should be local, unmarried women. The age limit is set between 21 and 35 years, calculated as of July 1, 2025.
Application Process and Important Dates
Eligible candidates can start submitting applications from December 24, 2025. Applicants must submit their completed forms on or before December 31, 2025, at the respective local CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) office.

Selection Process
The department will select candidates without conducting any written examination. However, applicants must clear a Telugu dictation test conducted by the CDPO. Officials will strictly verify all documents during scrutiny to prevent irregularities.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹11,500, depending on the post.
