Gurukul Students Protest Over Power Outage for 10 Days
Students of a Gurukul educational institution staged a protest after facing a continuous power outage for the last ten days. The prolonged lack of electricity has caused severe inconvenience, affecting their daily routine and studies.
Students Raise Serious Allegations
According to the students, they repeatedly informed the hostel warden about the power problem. However, instead of addressing the issue, the warden allegedly abused them verbally. Angered by this response, the students gathered and raised slogans against the warden.
They demanded that authorities take immediate action and resolve the electricity issue without further delay.
Daily Life Disrupted
Due to the power outage, students have been struggling with basic needs. They reported problems with lighting, drinking water, fans, and mobile charging. As a result, many students said they could not study properly, especially during night hours.
Moreover, the lack of electricity has created safety concerns inside the hostel premises.
Demand for Immediate Intervention
The protesting students urged higher officials of the Gurukul education department to intervene. They demanded the restoration of power supply and action against the warden for his alleged behavior.
They also warned that they would intensify the protest if officials failed to respond promptly.
Officials Respond
Meanwhile, local authorities said they were aware of the issue and assured that steps would be taken soon to restore electricity. An inquiry into the students’ allegations against the warden is also expected.
