Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that India holds the solution to the growing global shortage of skilled human resources. Addressing the issue during his official visit to Switzerland, the Chief Minister highlighted India’s vast and young workforce as a key strength capable of meeting international demands across multiple sectors.
During his visit, Chandrababu Naidu met Indian Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar, and discussed Andhra Pradesh’s progressive policies, investment opportunities, and the state’s readiness to support global companies with skilled manpower. The Chief Minister emphasized that while many countries are struggling to find adequate human resources, India — particularly Andhra Pradesh — has a large pool of trained youth ready to take on global roles.
He explained that the state government is focusing strongly on skill development, industry-linked education, and workforce readiness to align with international requirements. According to Chandrababu, Andhra Pradesh aims to position itself as a reliable global talent hub by combining education, technology, and policy-driven growth.
Focus on Swiss Investments and Collaboration
IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh also participated in the meeting and held detailed discussions on potential collaborations with Swiss companies. He urged Swiss pharmaceutical firms and universities to partner with Andhra Pradesh in areas such as research, innovation, education, and employment generation. Lokesh stressed that Andhra Pradesh is prepared to supply high-quality human resources to global companies while also creating a favorable ecosystem for investments.
The discussions also covered opportunities to connect Andhra Pradesh with leading Swiss firms and institutions. Lokesh requested the Indian Ambassador’s support in facilitating partnerships that could lead to long-term economic and employment benefits for the state. He reiterated that Andhra Pradesh’s youth are skilled, adaptable, and ready to meet international standards.
Chandrababu Meets Eros Innovation Chairman
Separately, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Kishore, Chairman of Eros Innovation, during the visit. Praising Chandrababu’s global vision and leadership, Kishore referred to him as the “Davos Man,” acknowledging his consistent efforts to position Andhra Pradesh on the global investment map.
The meeting focused on innovation, technology-driven growth, and future collaboration opportunities. Chandrababu underlined his commitment to transforming Andhra Pradesh into a global destination for investment, innovation, and skilled manpower.
