A simple act of responsibility on the Kakinada–Samarlakota road has now turned into an inspiring story across Andhra Pradesh. Woman constable Jayashanthi won hearts after she was seen managing traffic while holding a small child in her arms. YK TV brought this moment to light through a special story, and the visuals immediately connected with people.
During a traffic build-up on the busy road, Jayashanthi stepped forward without waiting for help. Even while caring for the child, she focused on clearing vehicles and restoring order. Her calm approach and presence of mind stood out, showing how duty and humanity can go hand in hand.
After the story aired, appreciation started pouring in. Minister Nara Lokesh and Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, also known as Sajjanar, praised her publicly on social media. Their words highlighted how such actions set an example for the force.
Later, AP Home Minister Anita personally called Jayashanthi to congratulate her. She described the constable’s dedication as truly admirable. The incident has since become a reminder that small moments of sincerity often leave the biggest impact.
