The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) continues to draw strong interest from newlywed couples by offering free wedding services at the Tirumala Kalyana Vedika. Located on Papavinasanam Road, the facility has become a preferred choice for couples seeking a traditional and affordable marriage ceremony in a sacred setting. Since its launch in April 2016, the initiative has steadily gained popularity, with thousands choosing Tirumala to begin their married life.
Under this service, TTD arranges priests, traditional mangala vaidyam, turmeric, kumkum, and kalyana kankanams at no cost. However, couples must bring other marriage essentials themselves. Parents of both the bride and groom must attend the ceremony. If they cannot, couples must submit valid supporting documents in advance.
After the wedding, the bride, groom, and their parents receive free darshan through the ATC queue under a special ₹300 entry. Additionally, TTD provides free laddus based on the number listed in the marriage receipt.
TTD also offers online booking through its official website. Couples must submit personal, parental, and age-proof details and reach Tirumala at least six hours before the ceremony. Subject to availability, a ₹50 accommodation may also be allotted.
Over the past decade, TTD has conducted 26,777 marriages at the Kalyana Vedika, reflecting the programme’s growing trust and acceptance among devotees.
