A 39-second video showing a lady constable clearing traffic in Samarlakota has gone viral on social media in recent days. The clip attracted massive attention and even reached Home Minister Anitha. Many viewers praised the constable, Amudala Jayasanthi, for her dedication, and the video was widely shared across platforms.
However, soon after the viral surge, several questions began to surface. Many people asked why certain individuals chose not to post the video, while discussions around Jayasanthi’s background started gaining momentum. According to information gathered from journalist sources, a case linked to alleged irregularities in employment certificates connected to DSC recruitment is currently under scrutiny.
Allegations and Ongoing Probe
Sources indicate that Jayasanthi’s husband earlier served in Palnadu district and later faced a disciplinary transfer. To secure a posting back to the Kakinada district, a plan was allegedly executed with the support of a few local influencers. Officials claim the move created a false narrative that misled not only the police department but also senior authorities.
Investigations further revealed that a head constable allegedly forged the DGP’s signature and created a fake ID card. He reportedly posed as a sub-inspector and engaged in illegal activities. Authorities are probing allegations that the couple supported these actions. The inquiry remains active.
Police Clarification and Public Caution
Rangampeta police officials clarified that no personnel were deployed from their station for special bandobast on that day. They also stated that traffic regulation in the area happens regularly through assigned staff. Questions were also raised over claims of managing traffic while carrying a child, which officers say violates protocol.
Officials urged the public to remain cautious about unverified content shared by influencers. They stressed that not all viral stories reflect the truth. The episode has reignited debate on misinformation and the growing influence of social media narratives.
