The Janasena Party has ordered an internal inquiry into allegations involving Rail Kodur MLA Arava Sreedhar. The party leadership took this decision after a woman raised serious allegations against the MLA. Janasena issued official directions on the matter on January 28, 2026.
According to party sources, Janasena has constituted a three-member inquiry committee to examine the issue. The committee includes senior party leaders Shivashankar, Thamballapalli Ramadevi, and Varun. The panel will review the complaint and submit its findings to the party leadership.
Committee Formed, MLA Asked to Respond
Janasena directed MLA Arava Sreedhar to submit a detailed explanation within one week. The party leadership said it would assess the facts only after receiving the clarification. Until the inquiry concludes, Janasena advised the MLA to stay away from party activities.
Party leaders stated that the decision reflects Janasena’s commitment to discipline and accountability. They stressed that the party would follow due process while handling sensitive issues. At the same time, the leadership underlined the need to protect the party’s credibility.
Party Emphasises Ethical Standards
Janasena reiterated that it stands for clean politics and responsible public conduct. Leaders said the party would not ignore complaints that affect public trust. They also clarified that the inquiry aims to ensure fairness and transparency.
Meanwhile, the development has drawn political attention in Andhra Pradesh. Observers say the committee’s findings will play a key role in deciding further action. More details on the inquiry process are expected in the coming days.
