A newly married couple triggered strong reactions at Tirumala after staging an inappropriate photo shoot near the Sri Venkateswara temple. The incident took place in front of the sacred shrine, where the couple posed for photos and videos while crossing limits that devotees consider unacceptable in such a holy space.
Witnesses said cameramen actively recorded videos and clicked pictures as the couple exchanged intimate gestures right before the temple. Despite the sensitive location and the presence of devotees, no immediate intervention took place. The absence of security action during the shoot surprised many pilgrims who gathered at the spot.
Devotees expressed deep anger over repeated incidents of similar photo shoots near the shrine. Many believe such acts hurt religious sentiments and disturb the sanctity of Tirumala, which millions visit with devotion and discipline. Several pilgrims questioned the role of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s security staff, stating that repeated lapses show negligence.
The incident has once again raised concerns about crowd control and monitoring near the temple premises. Devotees demanded strict action against the couple to prevent such behaviour in the future. They also urged temple authorities to strengthen surveillance and ensure that the spiritual atmosphere of Tirumala remains protected.
Tirumala holds immense religious significance, and devotees expect visitors to maintain decorum. Many believe firm action will send a clear message and help preserve the sanctity of the sacred hill shrine.
