Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took part in a landmark event in Kuppam, Chittoor district, where officials created a new Guinness World Record by distributing 5,555 e-cycles within 24 hours. The achievement highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s push toward green mobility and public participation.
Guinness World Record Officially Handed Over
Soon after the record was confirmed, Guinness World Records officials issued the certificate. The Chittoor District Collector received the official document directly from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. This recognition placed Kuppam on the global map for large-scale e-cycle distribution.
Massive E-Cycle Rally Draws Attention
Before the certificate presentation, authorities organised a grand e-cycle rally. The rally began at Shivapuram and concluded at Praja Vedika. Hundreds of participants joined the ride, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the town.
Chandrababu Naidu Joins the Ride
Adding to the excitement, Chandrababu Naidu personally rode an e-cycle for nearly three kilometres. He interacted with participants during the rally and encouraged citizens to adopt eco-friendly transport options. His participation gave a strong message about clean energy and sustainable travel.

Officials stated that the record attempt aimed to promote environmentally friendly mobility. At the same time, the initiative encouraged youth and students to choose electric alternatives. As a result, the program received wide public support.
