Kodumur in Kurnool district witnessed grand celebrations as the Sri Choudeshwari Devi Jathara reached its spiritual peak. As part of the festivities, devotees conducted the Sri Choudeshwari Devi Rathotsavam with great devotion and enthusiasm. The town echoed with chants of the goddess’s name, creating a vibrant and devotional atmosphere throughout the area.
During the ritual, Vedic scholars adorned the goddess with a silver armour. They decorated the idol with fresh flowers and performed special prayers. These sacred rituals drew large crowds of devotees from surrounding villages, adding to the festive spirit.
Meanwhile, the Rathotsavam procession moved smoothly through the main streets of Kodumur. Devotees followed the chariot while offering prayers and singing hymns. As a result, the entire town remained immersed in devotion.
