YSR Congress leader and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set for another visitation tour. He will visit former minister Jogi Ramesh’s residence in Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada. Jagan will begin his journey from Tadepalli and travel via the Kanakadurga Temple bridge to reach the former minister’s home. The route map has already been submitted to the Vijayawada City Police.
However, due to security concerns, Vijayawada police have issued notices recommending a change in the route. Earlier, Jagan’s visit to Ambati Rambabu’s family in Guntur sparked controversy. Party supporters waving flags created chaos, and more than 50 vehicles were stopped at the Kaza Toll Plaza, leading to massive traffic congestion on the Guntur-Vijayawada highway. Commuters were stranded for hours.
For Ambati Rambabu’s visit, Jagan left Tadepalli at 10 AM on the 4th of this month, aiming to reach the residence by 11 AM and return within an hour. Surprisingly, the 35-kilometre journey took over six hours, and he finally arrived at 4:30 PM.
Considering the inconvenience caused to the public, Vijayawada police have advised changing the route for Jagan’s upcoming visit to Jogi Ramesh’s residence. Authorities expect large crowds during the visit, and restrictions have been imposed to manage traffic and ensure safety. The exact route of Jagan’s tour remains uncertain, leaving residents and officials in suspense.
