Hyderabad: Jana Sena Party achieved a key milestone in the Telangana municipal elections. For the first time, the party won a councillor seat in the state.
Smt. Aruri Vijayalakshmi secured victory from the 14th ward of Nereducharla Municipality in the erstwhile Nalgonda district. As a result, she became the first Jana Sena councillor in Telangana.
Special Win on International Women’s Day
Notably, her victory came on International Women’s Day. Therefore, party leaders called it a proud moment. They said the party always supports women in politics.
Moreover, winning through a woman candidate made the moment even more special for the party. Leaders described it as the first strong step in Jana Sena’s journey in Telangana.
Inspired by Pawan Kalyan
Party members credited Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for this success. According to them, his guidance and encouragement gave confidence to candidates and workers.
In addition, leaders thanked all those who contested in the elections. They also expressed gratitude to party workers, supporters, and women volunteers who campaigned actively.
Focus on Grassroots Strength
However, leaders said this is only the beginning. They urged party members to work harder at the grassroots level. Regardless of the overall results, they stressed the need to strengthen the party across Telangana.
Furthermore, leaders thanked local coordinators and party cadres who worked over the past month. Finally, they called on everyone to stay united and work together.
They expressed hope that the Jana Sena flag will fly higher in Telangana in the coming days.
