Human Resource Development and Information Technology Minister Lokesh visited Mumbai to invite global leaders and investors to the 30th CII Partnership Summit. The State government and CII will hold the event in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15. Describing the summit, Lokesh called it a pivotal moment for Andhra Pradesh’s growth and innovation.
At the CII roadshow in Mumbai, Lokesh urged investors to choose Andhra Pradesh over other states. He emphasised the value of competitive federalism. “We love competition,” Lokesh said. “It makes our nation stronger and more alert.” Lokesh described Visakhapatnam as a mix of Bengaluru’s tech spirit and Goa’s charm. “If Bangalore married Goa, Visakhapatnam would be their child,” he said. “It’s beautiful and innovative.”
Lokesh unveiled Andhra Pradesh’s bold development vision. He announced plans to build a trillion-dollar economic corridor and spotlighted Amaravati as a greenfield capital modeled after Cyberabad. He revealed that Amaravati will host South Asia’s first 158-qubit quantum computer. “We’re creating a full ecosystem around it,” Lokesh said, reinforcing the Sstate’s commitment to cutting-edge technology. He emphasised Andhra Pradesh’s multi-sector focus. “Our long coastline and diverse geography drive decentralised development,” Lokesh explained, highlighting the State’s inclusive growth strategy.
Lokesh ended his Mumbai address with a strong call to action. “Come visit us,” he said. “Give us a chance, and we’ll rewrite history together.”
