Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan’s experimental alien comedy film ‘Ayalan’ is finally arriving on OTT in Telugu. The much-awaited dubbed version will begin streaming on Aha OTT from January 7, ending months of anticipation among fans.
Telugu OTT Release Brings Relief to Fans
Movie lovers in Telugu-speaking states have waited a long time for the OTT release of ‘Ayalan’. The film released in Tamil during Sankranthi 2024 and received attention for its unique concept. However, the Telugu version did not reach theatres or OTT platforms at that time.
The makers initially planned a theatrical release in Telugu. Sivakarthikeyan also visited Hyderabad and took part in promotions. The team announced January 26 as the release date. Later, unavoidable reasons forced them to cancel the big-screen release.
TV Premiere Created Buzz
After the theatrical plan failed, the Tamil version started streaming on Sun Next OTT. Still, the makers shared no update about the Telugu dubbed version. In December, Zee Telugu aired the Telugu version for the first time on television. The broadcast created strong buzz and renewed demand for an OTT release.
Following the positive response, the makers officially announced the digital premiere. The Telugu dubbed version will now stream exclusively on Aha OTT from January 7.

‘Ayalan’ stars Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film combines science fiction with comedy and emotional elements. Actor Siddharth gave his voice to the alien character, which added charm and humor.
