Voting Ends After Smooth Polling Process
Polling for the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce elections concluded successfully on Sunday. The voting process began in the morning and continued smoothly until 1 PM, with strong participation from members. The election results will be officially announced at 6 PM today, according to sources from the chamber.
Two Panels in Direct Contest
This year’s elections witnessed a direct contest between two major panels. While the “Mana Panel” represents small and independent producers, the “Progressive Panel” is backed by leading and senior producers from the Telugu film industry. As a result, the elections have drawn significant attention within film circles.
Over 3,300 Members Took Part
The Telugu Film Chamber currently has 3,355 registered members, all of whom were eligible to vote. Members cast their votes to elect key office bearers, including the President and General Secretary, along with 12 Executive Committee members. Therefore, the outcome is expected to shape the industry’s administrative direction.
New Executive Body to Serve Till 2027
The newly elected governing body will hold office until 2027. Industry insiders believe that the results will play a crucial role in determining policies related to film production, distribution, and exhibitors over the next two years. Meanwhile, both panels have expressed confidence in their respective campaigns.
